Professional experience

Ivan has extensive business, research and consultation experience in both the private and public sectors.

Over the past twelve years Ivan has held senior roles in the areas of corporate and business planning, performance measurement, quality assurance and business improvement at the Universities of Western Sydney and Newcastle, NSW Environment Protection Authority and Hunter Institute of TAFE.  He has facilitated organisational development and improvement processes for each of these organisations.

Ivan has managed research projects for all levels of government, and also non-government clients, including community surveys, workshops and focus groups.

Ivan has also served a term as President of the Australasian Association for Institutional Research, whose main aim is to raise the level of professional competence in analysis within the fields of tertiary education planning, policy analysis and institutional research within the Australasian region.
